Heads Together for ABI has been building a community for people with acquired brain injury and their families, since 2003 with the inception of Heads Together Camp. The camp was established by a small group of paediatric ABI specialists who saw a need for families to be able to connect and support each other in a non clinical environment. This is why the HT camp was created and twelve years on the strength of this community evolved into an organisation.
The Heads Together Camp community created the core values of our organisation which are Respect, Generosity, Acceptance, and Courage. These values have created the environment that makes Heads Together Camp such a positive place to be, and are the cornerstone for all the Heads Together for ABI programs.
All our programs are free and we are a community not a service provider.
